Local Councillor Colin Campbell is calling on Yorkshire Water to restore damaged grass verges in Otley.

Councillor Colin Campbell (Lib Dem, Otley & Yeadon) said, "Recently Yorkshire Water have been relaying water mains in Otley. Because of this large contractors vehicles have been driving over the grass verges and leaving them in a mess. There are problems throughout Otley and I have asked Highways officers to inspect the damage to ensure it is properly repaired."

Cllr Campbell added, "Several residents have already contacted me about this issue and I would like to know of any other problem areas so we can get them dealt with."
