Lib Dem Councillor Jamie Matthews (Headingley) is urging local residents to get involved in a consultation on the future of the area.
Leeds City Council is reviewing its policy on bars, pubs, clubs, nightclubs and takeaways in Headingley. They are also investigating the sale of alcohol and provision of late night refreshment.
In order to help draft future policy the Headingley Forum will be holding a public consultation event to allow anyone interested to share their views.
The event is taking place Monday 20 September, 18:30-20:30 in the Gallery Room at Headingley Community Centre.
Speaking on the consultation Cllr Jamie Matthews (Chair of Headingley Forum) said:
"This is the perfect chance for local residents to come and have their opinions heard. If you want to tell the council what you think about issues such as the sale of alcohol or late night food now is your chance..
"I would urge everyone to come along. It's an informal meeting, just drop in and have a chat, you don't need to stay long."
