Otley Science festival set for big bang

The Otley Science Festival 2010 is set to be the biggest and best event yet.

Otley and Yeadon Lib Dem councillors Colin Campbell, Ryk Downes and Graham Kirkland have given £400 towards the cost of the festival from their MICE money. The week long science extravaganza is going from strength to strength and this year looks like it's going to be bigger than ever.

Cllr Campbell said:

"We are happy to give some money to what I'm sure will be a fantastic event. I went last year and it was very successful and I'm going again this year. Big names in the science world like Adam Hart Davies are attending so it should be very interesting and a lot of fun."
