Councillors answer plea for park progress

March 27, 2009 12:00 AM

There will be another opportunity for the public to share their views regarding barbecues on Woodhouse Moor.

Councillors are keen to ensure that as many people as possible are able to get involved. As a result a third consultation meeting has been arranged in the ward.

Residents and interested parties will now be able to meet with councillors and officers on Thursday 2 April, between 16:30 - 18:30 at Wrangthorn Church Hall.

Speaking of the extra session, Councillor James Monaghan (Lib Dem, Headingley) Chair of Inner North West Area Committee said:

"I'm glad we've been able to arrange another consultation session. We are keen to work positively with all sections of the local community.

"Woodhouse Moor should be an area that everyone can enjoy visiting. Hopefully we can continue to work together with local residents to find the best way forward."
