Welcome Back To Lib Dem Fold for Independent Councillor

Cllr Kabeer Hussain, Councillor for Hyde Park & Woodhouse Ward, has rejoined the Liberal Democrat Group on Leeds City Council .

Cllr Richard Brett, Lib Dem Group Leader on Leeds City Council, has welcomed Cllr Kabeer Hussain back into the Group after his short term dalliance with the Labour Group and period as an Independent :- "I know that is has been a difficult time for Kabeer but I am glad we have been able to welcome him back, he was elected as a Liberal Democrat and his return marks the end of difficult journey for him."
