Rothwell Youth Theatre to Receive Cash Boost

£1,000 worth of funding has been allocated to the Rothwell Youth Theatre. The money, provided by the South Outer Area Committee Wellbeing Fund is to be used to buy stage props, make up and costumes. Local Councillor Don Wilson praised the work of the group who have until now had to work within tight budget restrictions.
Councillor Don Wilson (Lib Dem, Rothwell) member of the Outer South Area Committee said "I am thrilled that this funding has been approved. It is not always easy to find money to get productions off the ground. This allocation will mean that Rothwell's budding actors and actress's will now get the opportunity to perform with better equipment and costumes."
