Leeds City Council's Executive Board Member for Learning, Richard Harker (Lib Dem, Moortown) will officially open new computer facilities for the children and young people of Gipton, Harehills and Chapeltown this Saturday, 26th November.
Cllr Harker says "I'm delighted to open the new young people's I.T. room. It will provide a useful resource for some of the most disadvantaged young people in Leeds"

The partnership's objective 'to raise the confidence, self-esteem, trust and aspirations of the local community to work and live in peace and respect' is something I wholeheartedly support."

2. Harehills Youth in Partnership targets young people from right across Leeds aged 8-25 of South Asian origin, and ALL young people living in Gipton and Harehills and Chapeltown electoral wards. It particularly targets young people who are socially excluded and those considered to be at risk.
