Operation Apollo Set To Tackle Graffiti

Cllr Martin Hamilton (Lib Dem Headingley Ward) commenting on the

on-going Operation Apollo said "I welcome the emphasis the operation is placing on environmental crime, in particular graffiti. Graffiti in South Headingley has reached epidemic proportions. The Council is doing more than it ever has done to get it removed, but we need to see more perpetrators caught in the first place"

At the briefing, the police confirmed that they were taking a

number of steps over the course of the Operation Apollo initiative to get to grips with graffiti in South Headingley
