Let There Be Lights

Lib Dem Councillor Kabeer Hussain has warmly welcomed plans to introduce the Leeds Lights project into the City's Hyde Park and Woodhouse Ward . The lights are being installed in recognition of the forthcoming religious festivals celebrated by many residents in the area. Councillor Hussain has worked closely with the Officers of the Inner North West Area Committee to help get the project off the ground.
Councillor Kabeer Hussain (Lib Dem, Hyde Park and Woodhouse) said " The Leeds Lights Project is an excellent idea. A real celebration of the diversity we have here in Leeds. The local community in Hyde Park & Woodhouse is a multi ? cultural one and it is important we recognise this.
The festival lights are there to be enjoyed by everyone."
