Additional PCSOs Set For East Leeds

Councillor Alan Taylor, Chair of the East Inner Area Committee, has hailed Council plans to introduce a further four Police Community Support Officers to the Inner East area of Leeds. The proposals, to be put forward at next Wednesday's Executive Board Meeting, are part of a city wide initiative to introduce a further 34 PCSOs across Leeds.
Councillor Taylor (Lib Dem, Gipton & Harehills) said, "This is great news for local people. Police Community Support Officers provide a vital role supporting the Police and helping protect the local community. These proposals are very welcome."
