Additional PCSOs Set For North East Leeds

Councillor Brenda Lancaster, Chair of the Inner North East Area Committee, has hailed Council plans to introduce a further five Police Community Support Officers to the Inner North East area of Leeds. The proposals, to be put forward at next Wednesday's Executive Board Meeting, are part of a city wide initiative to introduce a further 34 PCSOs across Leeds.

Councillor Lancaster (Lib Dem, Moortown) said, "This is great news for local people. Police Community Support Officers provide a vital role supporting the Police and helping protect the local community. These proposals are very welcome."
