Simon Hughes MP with Leeds LibDems outside Leeds Civic Hall

Simon Hughes the LibDem MP for Southwark North and Bermondsey was in Leeds today promoting his campaign to be the next LibDem Party President*. He met with LibDem Councillors and discussed with them their part in running the adminstartion of Leeds City Council. One of the many success stories in last months local Elections.

Afterwards he went on to meet Otley & Yeadon Ward councillors and activists in Otley on his way to Harrogate.

*The other candidate is Lembit Opik MP (Montgomeryshire)
