LibDems win 26 seats on Leeds City Council

With all 99 seat declared from yesterday's election. The LibDems have secured an additional 6 seats to take their total to 26, thus making them the second largest group on Leeds City Council which is now 'No Overall Control'

LibDem Councillors Now represent the following new wards as follows.

Burmantofts & Richmond Hill : Ralph Pryke, Richard Brett, David Hollingsworth

Gipton & Harehills : Alan Taylor, Javaid Akhtar

Headingley : David Morton, Greg Mulholland, Martin Hammond

Horsforth : Chris Townsley, Brian Cleasby, Andrew Barker

Hyde Park & Woodhouse : Penny Ewens, Kabeer Hussain, Linda Rhodes-Clayton

Moortown : Mark Harris, Brenda Lancaster, Richard Harker

Otley & Yeadon : Colin Campbell, Graham Kirkland, Ryk Downes

Rothwell : Don Wilson, Steve Smith, Mitchell Galdas

Weetwood : Brian Jennings, Sue Bentley, Stewart Golton
